Fall style is definitely in the air these days… and while I haven't purchased much as far as new clothes go - I am excited to get started.  I am loving the olive greens and burgundies that have been popping up in the stores.  I can't wait to snag a few pieces in these quintessential fall colors for myself.  What about you? Is there a color or texture that is catching your eye already this season?  

Old Navy is killing it with these great fall hues, slouchy and relaxed pieces and updates on the classics too.  All under one roof (and don't even get me started on the kids stuff… I can never walk out of there without a few fun pieces for my kiddos! I can even usually find a few pieces for my husband who is impossible to buy for.) which is the best for busy moms.

Time to stock up on some fun summer duds from J.Crew Factory! Their spring/summer new arrivals are super cute and I would love to add any of these to my closet right now!  This season I am obsessed with striped shorts, flirty dresses, jumpsuits and peasant tops.  So basically J.Crew Factory is ready to fill my dream closet.  And of course the prices are always right at J.Crew Factory… all these pieces are under $100 and most are under $50. Old Navy is killing it this season… I am loving these light and fresh pieces for layering or on their own that are perfect for sunny spring and summer days.   Striped maxi dresses, a fun little romper, tunics, adorable sandals and breezy boho tanks are just a few of my favorites right now. These sandals look so upscale, I can hardly believe the price. And the MVP goes to this creamy white denim jacket… I absolutely need to have this.  It's the perfect update on the classic denim jacket. I could see myself wearing it tons this spring.  Plus, you know… the price is ALWAYS right at Old Navy.

The new spring arrivals keep rolling in at all of our favorite retailers.  It's a guilty pleasure of mine to absolutely stalk my favorite stores when the seasons change to see what's new. To be honest, it's probably one of the reasons why I started blogging in the first place. I just can't get enough.

I'm loving these graphic neutrals from J.Crew Factory for spring.  It's looking like black and white are going to be a popular trend this spring.  I've been quite partial to black and white (and neutrals in general) lately so I am really loving what I am seeing so far. I will look forward to pairing pieces like these with denim jackets, white jeans and chambray this spring. But even if you prefer a little more color in your wardrobe, these pieces are super easy to style. There are precious few things that get me through the seemingly unending cabin fever of January and February.  Planning my escape (aka future vacations!), bingeing on Netflix (just finished Gilmore Girls - loved! And already knee deep into Friday Night Lights - obsessed!) and lastly: stalking my favorite stores for new arrivals.   And since this isn't a travel or tv blog… we're going to cover some of my favorite new arrivals these days.

If you follow me on Instagram (and you should! user: jillgg) you know that I have taken a break from shopping for January (follow hashtag #shopyourcloset2015 and see all the looks I and other instagram-ers put together from not-new clothes).  Yep, I am strictly window shopping this month. Which is actually a.o.k. in my book. I have a little bit of warm weather travel coming up soon, so I am socking away some cash for some new pieces for those trips and I would also like to make a few investments this spring with my wardrobe so I am preparing for those as well.  If you are abstaining like me - then I have good news for you - the month is over half finished!

However, if you aren't abstaining then I fully expect you to do your part and take advantage of these gorgeous new styles and the onslaught of sales that go with them! (wink, wink!)  Quite a few of these are on my wish list for February!
