You gals know that I am a hard core jeans gal… I just love jeans. I love collecting them (wink, wink) and wearing them, and I especially love discovering new favorites!! Enter Fitcode. These are two rocking awesome ladies running an amazing new start up that I love, and I think you will love too!
You simply log on to the site… and take the fit quiz. I was blown away about how spot on this quiz was - these gals have seriously done their denim homework. So many of the questions they asked I totally "got" - or they totally "got" me. Either way, first take the quiz, then the site will give you a whole slew of denim selections that are perfect for your Fitcode. Then you simply order up the jeans you love. Oh, and no guessing on sizing either. You know how sometimes you are one size and other times you are another size. Based on your quiz results they will suggest what size you would be in that specific fit. They really take all the guess work out of denim shopping.
It's like a denim gals dream come true when shopping online for jeans! After I answered the quiz questions I chose this High Waist Slim Illusion from 7 for All Mankind. These babies fit like a dream right out of the box! So go check out Fitcode - I know you will love it!

new arrivals/old navy!
Old Navy is killing it this season… I am loving these light and fresh pieces for layering or on their own that are perfect for sunny spring and summer days. Striped maxi dresses, a fun little romper, tunics, adorable sandals and breezy boho tanks are just a few of my favorites right now. These sandals look so upscale, I can hardly believe the price. And the MVP goes to this creamy white denim jacket… I absolutely need to have this. It's the perfect update on the classic denim jacket. I could see myself wearing it tons this spring. Plus, you know… the price is ALWAYS right at Old Navy.

my everyday style: pretty in peplum!
This white peplum top is going to be a spring and summer staple for sure. It's so easy and comfortable and while it's perfect for layering… it's also great on it's own. You know, once it's open arm season. Whenever that is. Hopefully soon!
Paired with these 'girlfriend' jeans I can't stop wearing and my black leather jacket that is also on serious repeat - this is going to be a go-to outfit this spring for sure. Do you have a few spring staples that you are already wearing and over-wearing?!

wear it now and later!
As spring makes it's self known slowly and surely (at least here in the Midwest) I've been trying to integrate a few spring wardrobe items into my everyday outfits. If you layer right a lot of the items you own can be worn for multiple seasons - making your wardrobe (and the money you invest in it) work harder and smarter for you.
With that idea in mind I like to try and think about how the items that I have in my closet can work for the current season and for the upcoming seasons as well. Here I have featured two spring and summer staples: the denim skirt and a maxi dress, and styled them up for now (spring) and later (summer).

what to wear: Easter 2015!
It's Easter weekend already… can you believe it? For me Easter is the un-official start of spring and one of my favorite holidays… it means flowers, pastels, jelly beans, brunch and of course experiencing the joy of our Savior's resurrection. All the best things in life really. I've got my kiddos Easter baskets stuffed and hidden and the brunch reservations made (this year we are doing brunch out… usually I host it here so I will be curious to see if it's more relaxing or not) - now it's just what to wear, right?
Sweet dresses in pink or navy (or white jeans if you prefer something more casual), pastel accessories like this clutch or earrings and a bright and bold heel or a simple neutral shoe are easy ways to dress the part for a day of family and fun. What will you be wearing for Easter this year?

my everyday style: white denim!
I love white denim for spring and summer. Seeing as I wear jeans (a lot!) I love to mix it up a bit with a *new* kind of denim this time of year. Today I combed the archives for some of my favorite white denim looks over the past few years…

spring classics/2015
From the timeless denim jacket to your (new) favorite jean shorts to a fun and flirty tank… this season I am LOVING the classics. A linen blazer in white, a pair of loafers with bows and fun details like scallops and tassels are the perfect balance of classic and modern this season. Pieces like these become instant favorites and are sure to be on repeat in your closet throughout the spring and summer.
